UZCERT cyber security incident response service

UZCERT cyber security incident response service. The main task of the service is to reduce the level of cyber security threats for the users of the Uzbek national segment of the Internet. For this purpose, UZCERT will detect, prevent and assist local and foreign legal entities and individuals in illegal activities directed against the information systems and resources of the UZ domain.

The Center’s implementation of the Information Security and Public Order System (IPSC) dates back to 2013. IPSC was established under the name “Information Security Center”.

Principles of UZCERT

The UZCERT service is based on the following principles

Privacy

Data should only be accessible to persons who are authorized to do so. This is necessary to prevent data abuse.

Integrity

Information must be stored in full and unchanged form. This is important to prevent data distortion or replacement with incorrect data.

Protection

The data and systems must run at the right time. This means preventing system shutdowns and ensuring the provision of necessary services to users.
