UZCERT’s mission is to reduce the level of threats in the national cyberspace and to prevent information security incidents.

The main functions of UZCERT are as follows:

• centralized collection, analysis, sharing, and remediation of information on cyber threats;

• rapid response to cyberattacks and cybersecurity incidents;

• coordination of the activities of cybersecurity units of government agencies in responding to information security incidents;

• supporting the establishment and development of network CERT/CSIRT groups;

• developing recommendations and providing advice on ensuring cybersecurity;

• developing international cooperation on experience sharing in the field of cybersecurity.
